Job summary

Arkansas Talent Group, partnering with a large CPA firm, seeks a Tax Accountant (Staff or Senior) for its office in Little Rock or Fayetteville. The role focuses on a single, sophisticated client portfolio, enabling deep understanding of one client's tax strategy with meaningful ownership and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include preparing individual and business returns, maintaining organized tax files, and performing basic reviews while adhering to firm procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum two tax seasons' experience.
• CPA preferred; CPA/EA credential strongly preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and related topics.
• Ability to work extended hours during busy seasons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual tax returns (1040) and business returns (1120S, 1065).
• Prepare complete tax files with supporting documentation.
• Provide basic reviews on individual and business returns.
• Adhere to firm procedures and systems.
• Develop positive client relationships.
• Provide tax research support for transactions.
