Job summary

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a leading Arkansas CPA firm to recruit a Tax Manager for their Fayetteville office. The role reports to the Tax Partner and offers a clear path to partnership as the firm grows.

You will lead tax engagements, provide proactive planning, and develop client relationships across industries. The position requires a CPA with 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting, strong communication, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client engagements related to tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for businesses.
• Provide proactive tax advice and guidance to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimizing tax liabilities.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and S-corporation returns.
• Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters.
• Mentor and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development.
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional service to clients.

Duties would include:

• Lead and manage client engagements related to tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for businesses
• Provide proactive tax advice and guidance to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimizing tax liabilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting
• CPA
• Minimum of 7+ years of Tax experience in public accounting
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Experience working with various size businesses across various industries preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and develop staff members
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and prioritize tasks effectively
