Job summary

Simply Protein for Pets (SPFP) is seeking an analytical staff accountant to join our finance team in the United States. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close, and ensure GAAP-compliant recording of sales, COGS, and expenses.

Collaborate on inventory reconciliations with manufacturers and 3PLs, prepare cash flow and working capital reports, and assist budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 1–4 years of accounting experience in high-growth or CPG.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate recording of sales, COGS, inventory, and operating expenses in accordance with GAAP.

• Prepare weekly cash flow and working capital reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with sales tax and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance ERP usage.
