Aurora is seeking an Architect and Security Engineer to design and implement security systems for its autonomous vehicle platform and cloud services. You will lead hands-on vehicle security development and work with partner teams and OEMs to integrate security capabilities.
You will contribute to security reviews, release security, and mentor engineers across teams, applying cryptographic and network security practices while writing production-ready C++ and Go.
Architect and implement security systems and frameworks for Aurora's autonomous vehicle platform and related cloud services, including hands-on leadership of vehicle security development. Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; at least 8 years of software engineering development and 2 years in a security-specific or security-adjacent industry. Candidates should be able to write production-quality C++ and Go, apply cryptographic and infrastructure/network security practices, lead projects, and collaborate across teams.
