Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Staff Security Platform Engineer (IC5) to own backend integration work on a policy platform for a critical customer engagement. You will collaborate with the customer tech lead and delivery team to define scope and drive technical direction on Golang services, MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS components.

This remote US role requires hands-on leadership to review code, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery against technical standards.

Qualifications

Backend services and integrations in Golang
Data modeling and query design in MongoDB
Loading and querying data in Snowflake
Experience building services on AWS
Lead technical design and set direction for engineers on the engagement
Communicate with customer tech lead to translate requests into scoped work

Responsibilities

Support day‑to‑day backend integration work and policy platform use cases in Golang against MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS‑hosted services
Own technical design for integrations from definition through delivery and document design decisions for the customer tech lead and delivery stakeholders
Deliver work to the customer’s technical standards, including code review, testing, and deployment practices
Provide technical direction and code review for IC4 engineer on the same engagement
Onboard rapidly and contribute to integration work early in the engagement
Communicate progress, risks, and blockers promptly to the customer tech lead and delivery stakeholders
