Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Staff Security Engineer in the Secure Digital Asset Operations (SDAO) to partner with Finance, Product, and Engineering to protect high-value Ripple digital assets. You will architect, implement, and operate technical solutions and processes to secure asset transactions.

You will evangelize security best practices, guide tooling choices, and mentor teams. For NY-based roles, the specified base salary range applies, with equity and bonuses as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of security or engineering focused on digital asset protection.
• Strong understanding of security architecture for on-chain and off-chain transactions.
• Experience with cryptography and key lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate solutions to securely process high-value digital asset transactions.
• Develop automation to monitor and report the real-time security posture of assets.
• Maintain and enhance programs for smart contract security and risk response.
