Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Staff Security Engineer within the Secure Digital Asset Operations (SDAO) to secure digital assets across the business. You will design, implement, and optimize processes to protect assets, coordinate with leadership and cross-functional teams, and advance our security posture.

You will drive risk assessments, implement improvements, measure security posture, and educate colleagues on best practices, while advising on strategy and vendor integrations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security with a focus on securing digital assets and crypto/blockchain/web3
• Strong knowledge of key management solutions, cryptography, and secure key handling practices
• Hands-on experience with wallet solutions (Software, Hardware, MPC, and/or MultiSig) and secure offline laptops
• Experience acting as a trusted digital asset security advisor to the business
• Clear, concise communication skills for junior and senior stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize across multiple assignments in ambiguous, complex environments

Responsibilities

• Secure digital assets by developing, implementing, documenting, and managing cataloging and storage processes
• Drive security risk assessments and collaborate to implement improvements
• Develop methods to measure, supervise, and communicate security posture to partners
• Educate teams on securing Ripple and personal digital assets
• Advise on digital asset security methodologies, tooling decisions, and vendor integrations
