Job summary

fal - Features & Labels seeks a Security Engineer, Infrastructure to secure GPU compute, multi‑cloud environments, networking, and data pipelines for fal.ai. You’ll implement security controls across cloud and containerized workloads, manage identity and secrets, and enforce Zero Trust at scale in a high‑performance AI platform.

Responsibilities include threat modeling, secure data access, and automation of security tooling with Terraform and CI/CD, collaborating with platform, infra, and ML

Qualifications

• 8+ years of security engineering, infrastructure, or SRE experience.
• Strong cloud security experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Linux systems and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience building or securing production infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage machine identity, secrets, and encryption with a least-privilege, short-lived credentials approach.
• Design secure data access pathways and multi-tenant isolation for AI workloads.
• Build security guardrails into infrastructure and CI/CD using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Identify and mitigate risks across infrastructure layers and drive security across teams.
