Job summary

Assured is on a mission to modernize insurance through automated, scalable testing and reliable software delivery. We seek a Staff SDET with strong TypeScript skills to join our engineering team and help shape our test strategies and tooling.

You will design and build automated UI, API, and E2E tests, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across product, development, and SRE teams to raise quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• SDET or QA Automation Engineer with hands-on testing experience.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency and solid JavaScript ecosystem knowledge.
• Experience with test automation tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Write automated UI, API, E2E, and integration tests.
• Collaborate with developers to build testable, quality-focused code.
• Participate in code reviews and improve testability and quality.
• Analyze failures, triage bugs, and identify root causes.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI.
• Contribute to testing strategies and QA best practices.
