Staff Scientist Positions in Cell Biology

The Department of Cell Biology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Cancer Center invites applications for a Staff Scientist position from outstanding candidates who have had a Ph.D. or M.D & Ph.D. degree and completed 4-5 years of postdoc training in Bioinformatics, Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Genetics. Specifically, we seek candidates who have previous experience with strong bioinformatics skills, including single-cell RNA and ChIP sequencing analyses, are also highly self-motivated, and have a strong desire to learn and improve.

The candidate will join Dr. ZJ Sun’s group (https://einsteinmed.edu/faculty/17939/zijie-sun/) to investigate the roles of stem cells and stem cell niches in prostate development and tumorigenesis using “cutting-edge” in vivo models and advanced experimental approaches and analyses. The salary range for this role is $67,000 - $73,000 based on experience.
