Amazon.com Services LLC’s Frontier AI & Robotics team is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to push robotic foundation models from research to production at scale.

Lead independent research across perception, manipulation, and multi-modal robotics, collaborating with platform and hardware teams, while leveraging vast compute resources to drive real-world deployment.

Candidates will publish and patent, mentor others, and shape the team’s technical strategy for next-generation robotics challenges.

Formación

• PhD or Master’s degree with 4+ years of CS/CE/ML or related field experience.
• Experience applying theoretical models in applied environments and building ML models or algorithms for business applications.
• Track record of patents or publications at top-tier conferences/journals.

Responsabilidades

• Drive independent research initiatives across the robotics stack, including foundation models, perception, and manipulation.
• Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for robotic understanding and actions.
• Lead full-stack robotics projects from concept to deployment with system-level integration of hardware and software.
• Collaborate with platform and hardware teams to scale models for real-world applications.
• Contribute to the team’s technical strategy and next-generation robotics challenges.
