Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a Staff Scientist to join our Permitting and Compliance team in Fort Worth, Texas. Flexible work schedule with the opportunity to work from home at least part-time in the Fort Worth area.

The successful candidate will assist on multimedia projects, perform Excel calculations, and support permitting, auditing, and reporting for diverse clients. A BS degree and 0–3 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 0–3 years of direct multi-media regulatory experience or relevant coursework.
• Data analysis and proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist on multimedia (air quality, water, waste, and wastewater) projects with technical work and support of project deliverables.
• Perform calculations with Microsoft Excel.
• Support projects including water and wastewater compliance and permitting, solid and hazardous waste management, SPCC plan development and compliance, environmental auditing and site inspections, and various reports.
• Work with the project manager and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Assist in meeting scope, schedule, and cost expectations for projects.
• Receive mentoring from senior staff and grow technical and project management skills.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
