Job summary

CDH Consulting in Denver seeks a entry-level Environmental Analyst to evaluate lab reports, assemble data packets and support project goals under senior staff. You will collaborate with field personnel and office teams to prepare reports and deliverables.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geology, with 0–4 years of relevant experience. Overnight travel is minimal; field support up to 20% may be required within the Denver area.

  • Provide field support up to 20% and occasional travel within the Denver area.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate laboratory analytical reports, prepare data packets, and work under the guidance of more senior staff to propose next steps to achieve project goals
  • Work closely with both field staff and office personnel to prepare reports and project deliverables
  • Field support up to 20% of the time, typically within 2 hours of the Denver area. Overnight travel not regularly anticipated.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • General understanding of environmental sampling techniques.
  • Familiarity with soil and groundwater investigations.
  • Experience interpreting laboratory analytical data.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Ability to work with large environmental datasets.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Oil and Gas experience
  • Experience with Colorado (ECMC) spill reporting
  • Experience with ArcGIS
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field of study
  • 0-4 years of relevant industry experience
