Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Clinical Scientist to support clinical research activities within the therapeutic area. You will collaborate with physicians, scientists, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute clinical studies, review data, and assist in regulatory documentation.

The role emphasizes strong communication, project management, and the ability to work in a matrixed environment, with travel anticipated domestically and internationally about 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related discipline is required
• An advanced degree (MS/PhD/ PharmD) is preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical research and development experience
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines and ICH‑GCP
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with AI and clinical trial management software is advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; strong collaborative skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with executing clinical strategies for trial protocols within the development plan
• Support clinical trials including study initiation, data monitoring, and closeout activities
• Provide training on study protocols and disease evaluation criteria
• Review aggregate and participant-level data; draft patient narratives for adverse events
• Support data monitoring with analysis, documentation and reporting per plan
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support overarching product development goals
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders; engage CROs as needed
• Review relevant medical literature to support trial execution
