Job summary

NEURA Robotics seeks a Staff Engineer for Robot Systems & Integration to own the architectural foundation across RT scheduling, motion planning, and industrial device integration. You will lead design reviews, author RFCs, and maintain hands‑on expertise, guiding senior engineers toward staff level.

You will coordinate with platform guilds to resolve cross‑layer conflicts among OS, middleware, hardware, and control pipelines, while enforcing shared libraries and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience in robot systems
• Demonstrated cross‑team architectural impact across OS, middleware and hardware
• Experience debugging cross‑layer failures at OS–middleware–hardware boundary
• Strong C++17/20 systems programming skills (RT‑safe, RAII)

Responsibilities

• Own RT scheduling policy and latency budgets for 1 kHz control loops
• Lead architectural direction for motion planning stack and robot platforms
• Define server/protocol boundaries in industrial integration and enforce design reviews
• Write RFCs and design documents, mentor staff‑level engineers
• Drive cluster hiring and knowledge sharing through architecture discussions
• Collaborate across platform guild and product roles to resolve cross‑layer issues
