Job summary

Berger Health System in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced RN for the Virtual ICU night shift. The role delivers general nursing care across the illness continuum, collaborating with the care team to support safe, high-quality outcomes.

The EICU nurse will assess, document, and adjust care plans; participate in process improvements; and contribute to safety and efficiency as part of a high-reliability organization.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• 3+ years of ICU/ED/PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments to determine patient needs.
• Develop and document care plans based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions; revise plans as needed with the care team.
• Lead process improvement activities to improve clinical quality and safety.
• Support safe operations and high reliability within the department.
