Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will work within organizational policies while maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care with the team.

The position requires GA RN licensure and BCLS; new graduates are welcome. Hospital experience is preferred, with emphasis on professional growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible; no experience required.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care to ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff and adhere to organizational policies.
