OhioHealth seeks a Staff RN for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit to provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients across preop and postop phases. This full-time day-shift role includes on-call requirements and weekend scheduling as described, with support from a 24/7 PACU team.

This Staff RN position is full-time, day shift. Pre-Post registered nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients throughout the preoperative and postoperative phases. On Call and Holiday Call requirements. PACU call (self-scheduled) requirement is three days per month. Every 8 weekends and three weekdays a month. Requires at least one year of experience in critical care experience. Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. (Department has scheduled staff to operate 24/7/365). The RN accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
