Job summary

United Church of Christ Homes is seeking an RN Staff Nurse to supervise daily resident care, round on residents, and ensure care plans and physician orders are properly implemented. You will administer medications and treatments, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires a current Pennsylvania RN license and a Diploma or Nursing Degree, with long-term care experience preferred. You will participate in discharge planning, ongoing assessments, documentation, and communication with

Qualifications

• Must possess a Diploma or Nursing Degree from an accredited school, college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered PA Registered Nurse license to practice.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and supervisory abilities; able to work with residents, families, and staff.
• Willingness to learn basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day care for residents, conducting rounds to verify completion of care plans and physician orders.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders; administer meds and treatments.
• Maintain accurate controlled substance records and report discrepancies.
• Complete shift-change reports and participate in care planning and discharge planning.
• Monitor residents’ condition, document assessments, and notify physicians of changes; assist with RNAC documentation.
