Job summary

OhioHealth Labor and Delivery is seeking a night-shift Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a high reliability, 24/7 unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients and families across the continuum, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include initial assessments, care planning, documenting interventions, and participating in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio or compact state in good standing.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.
• AHA BLS certification.
• C-EFM certification within 1 year or sooner.
• NRP certification as required by unit policy.
• Weekend and Holiday rotation; on-call may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: initial and ongoing health status of patients.
• Outcomes Planning: document interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate responses and revise plans with the team.
• Leadership: participate in process improvements for quality and safety.
• Operations: support daily unit operations and safety initiatives.
