Job Description

Stamford Health is seeking a nurse to join their Immediate Care Center team at the Tully Health Center, located at 32 Strawberry Hill Ct, Stamford, CT 06902.

The shift is 3 days a week, 12 hours a day (7am-8pm) with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

The Staff Nurse will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process, following all established standards within State and Federal guidelines. Responsibilities include supervising non-RN personnel, acting as a resource for ancillary staff, supervising unit activities when assigned as charge or clinical coordinator, serving as a preceptor to new staff and students, and adhering to Stamford Hospital’s policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program. The goal is to provide safe, therapeutic care aligned with the hospital’s values.

Qualifications
  • Valid RN license in Connecticut
  • ASN from an accredited Nursing School required; BSN preferred or in progress
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum one year of nursing experience required
