Job summary

AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, high‑quality patient care in an acute setting. You will direct PCA activity, assess patient needs, plan interventions, and document MD orders and outcomes.

BSN preferred; RN license in California required; one year acute care experience preferred; basic computer skills required. You will join a team committed to AHMC's mission and patient‑centered care.

Job description

This position is responsible for providing patient care in a safe and effective manner. Responsibilities include directing
PCA activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning of care/intervention, teaching of
patients/family, implementation of treatment plan, MD orders, documentation and evaluation. Integration of patient care
standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC Anaheim Regional
Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of AHMC

Education/Training/Experience

Graduate of RN School of Nursing; BSN preferred.

One Year Acute Care Experience Preferred.

Basic computer skills preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Current CA RN license
Current BLS-HCP
Current ACLS (Excludes NICU)
Current NRP (Labor & Delivery / OB Acute / NICU)
Current PALS (Emergency Dept. only)
Basic Dysrhythmia Class completion Optional for RN with at least 6 months experience, and successful completion of EKG competency exam
