Job summary

AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center is seeking a qualified RN to provide comprehensive patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, directing care assistants, and implementing treatment plans in accordance with medical orders.

Candidates should possess a graduate degree in nursing, current California RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS. Preference will be given to applicants with previous acute care experience and advanced certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Current CA RN license.
• Current BLS-HCP and ACLS certification required.

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing patient care in a safe and effective manner. Responsibilities include directing Patient Care Assistant activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning of care/intervention, teaching of patients/family, implementation of treatment plan, MD orders, documentation and evaluation. Integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.

Qualifications

Graduate of RN School of Nursing; BSN preferred. One year acute care experience preferred. Basic computer skills preferred. Current CA RN license. Current BLS-HCP. Current ACLS. Basic Dysrhythmia Class completion: Optional for RN with at least 6 months experience, and successful completion of EKG competency exam. CCRN Preferred. NIH Certification. Critical Care Course.
