A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care to patients. Services are for acutely ill patients with medical/surgical diagnoses or maternal child health, which are the primary reasons for admission. The nurse functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams, carries out established nursing procedures, and performs nursing care for patients with complex, multisystem needs. Demonstrates investment in the overall forward movement of the unit and organization. Applies good interpersonal and communication skills to achieve customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
Minimum (Required): Associate degree in nursing
Preferred (Not required): Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Minimum (Required): Basic computer skills
Preferred (Not required): Current RN experience in the specific service or department, including one-year acute care experience.
Minimum (Required): Current RN licensure in California, BLS certification, ACLS certification when appropriate.
The hourly rate is $48.41 - $76.69. Factors influencing the offer include experience, education, skills, and organizational considerations.
