Job description

Join to apply for the Staff RN - ICU role at Pratt Regional Medical Center.

Job Summary: Renders professional nursing services in the treatment and care of assigned patients in accordance with physicians' orders. Provides for the comfort and well-being of patients by assessing condition, providing treatments, administering prescribed drugs, and documenting progress and observations. Coordinates nursing care and participates in patient and family teaching. Works cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other team personnel to maintain standards. Provides general nursing care in the hospital.

Job Qualifications: Licensed RN in Kansas. CPR, ACLS, PALS certified. Basic computer literacy in a Windows environment, including word processing, internet use, and computer-based education. Keyboarding skills required. Experience with CPSI documentation software is a plus, including nursing assessments, electronic MAR with bedside barcode scanning, and Physician Order Entry. Candidates should be prepared to utilize information technology to improve patient outcomes and safety.

Compensation/Benefits: Competitive wages and excellent fringe benefits. Salary based on experience.

Additional Information: Weekend and/or holiday rotations may be required.
