Step into a high-tech, fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab where your critical thinking and hands-on skills directly impact life-saving outcomes. Join a close-knit team that values expertise, teamwork, and continuous learning in a supportive, patient-centered environment. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient setting. This role demonstrates competency in care delivery to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatient job description is based on the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Clinical competence and experience in caring for and managing the target patient populations specific to this area of employment.
Professional nursing knowledge acquired through graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and licensure as a Registered Nurse. Non-BSN nurses with less than one year of licensed experience must enroll in a BSN or higher degree program within 15 months of hire, completing it within 5 years (or 6 years for MSN, DNP, or PhD). A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license through NLC. BLS certification from AHA or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
