Job summary

Samaritan Medical Center seeks a Graduate Nurse (RN) for an Evening/Day Rotating position in the Samaritan Operating Room Services. The role requires completion from an accredited School of Nursing and possession of an RN license, with BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire.

Location: Samaritan Medical Center Department: 01.7041 SMC OPERATING ROOM SERV Pay Range: $39.97 - $60.40 Care for our community, and your career. Evening/Day rotating Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

Previous hospital RN experience is preferred. BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire. Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual. Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner. Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate. May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required. This position is an Evening/Day Rotating Position.
