Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare seeks an experienced Staff RN for Edgefield County Hospital in Edgefield, SC. The position is full-time with a day shift, focusing on telemetry and stroke patients as part of the care team.

The RN will use the Nursing Process for assessment, planning, and evaluation, coordinating care with other professionals while adhering to SRH policies and standards. Requires SC RN license, BLS, ACLS within 1 year, and NIHSS within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• BLS certified; ACLS within 1 year.
• Basic and Advanced Arrhythmia within 1 year.
• NIHSS Certificate within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document professional nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients.

The RNutilizes the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional
nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies
and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated
to appropriate person(s). Must adhere to (meet) the requirements for educational hours as outlined in the NIAHO standards for Primary Stroke
Center. Performs any other job related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.

Special Qualifications
