Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients, following physician orders and established guidelines. The role requires GA RN licensure in good standing and BLS certification, with BSN preferred and 2+ years of RN experience preferred.

The position operates under the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and typically follows 7:30am–4:00pm work hours in an award-winning, state-of-the-art hospital setting in Atlanta and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units are preferred.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adheres to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
