Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide expert patient care in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. You will work closely with the care team to deliver high-quality nursing services during 7P-7A shifts.

Georgia RN licensure in good standing is required along with BLS; preferred BSN and 2 years of RN experience. Additional certifications in life support or specialty units are a plus. Weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adheres to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
