Job summary

Torrance Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Staff RN to provide direct patient care in an acute care setting. You will apply the nursing process, implement care plans, and monitor patient status while educating patients and families.

Responsibilities include delivering age-appropriate care, administering medications, and collaborating with the care team. A 1-year critical care experience or AACN‑accredited course is required, with ACLS certification preferred.

Job description

The Staff RN uses the nursing process to deliver nursing care to a given patient care population as it relates to the care setting. Nursing care is based on the interpretation and execution of the medical and nursing plan of treatment utilizing established procedures standards and protocols of individuals within the assigned work shift. The Staff RN provides nursing care to the population served in the unit.
