Job Summary

The Staff RN provides general nursing care to patients and families across diverse, acute healthcare settings, operating 24/7/365. The RN practices according to the Ohio Board of Nursing standards, delegates tasks appropriately, and delivers professional nursing services including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Assessment/Diagnosis: Performs initial and ongoing health assessments.
  2. Outcomes Identification/Planning: Documents care plans based on diagnoses and collaborative problems.
  3. Implementation/Evaluation: Implements and evaluates responses to care, revising plans as needed.
  4. Leadership: Participates in process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality, satisfaction, and financial performance.
  5. Operations: Supports operational activities within the department.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license from Ohio Board of Nursing
