Job Summary:

The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care. Responsibilities include data collection and assessment, developing and evaluating care plans, and utilizing evidence-based practices. The role involves care coordination, patient education, and may include performing or assisting with procedures, patient care coordination, and telehealth services. The RN may float to other areas as needed.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Perform/direct ACLS
  • Interpret and manage rhythms independently, including defibrillation
  • Administer advanced lifesaving medications
  • Conduct templated RN-only patient assessments and act based on protocols
  • Provide specialty patient education (certification required)
  • Manage sedation, telemetry, complex procedures, wound therapy, central lines, device interrogation, and complex infusions
Experience:

Relevant clinical experience or interest in the specific patient populations is required. At least 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.

Education:

Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license via NLC required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Licensure:

Requires current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license. BLS certification from AHA or equivalent within 90 days of hire.
