Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an ARU RN to provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care for invasive cardiology patients in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include RN licensure in Georgia, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred with 2 years RN experience. ACLS/PALS/NRP or other certifications are a plus. No weekends or on-call, 8am-8:30pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• The Admit Recovery Unit RN is part of a supportive, collaborative team that provides superior patient care, in a highly skilled, fast paced environment.
• The ARU RN is responsible for pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery of invasive cardiology patients, receiving clinically advanced, lifesaving cardiac cath and electrophysiology procedures.
• The role is Monday-Friday, 3x12 hour day shift, with a late stay rotation; no weekends, no holidays, and no call.
