Job summary

Applicantz, Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Engineer in the RF Power Group of SET for a hybrid role in Tualatin, OR. You will influence product engineering processes for wafer fabrication equipment used by leading chipmakers worldwide.

Responsibilities include resolving lifecycle issues, improving RCCA/quality systems, and managing supplier performance. Candidates should have extensive RF engineering and cross-functional collaboration experience.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical or RF Power Engineering with >10 years' experience.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment systems and component-level problem solving.
• Experience with multi-kilowatt high power RF environments (1–60 MHz).
• Knowledge of transmission line theory, impedance matching, RF measurements and calibration techniques.
• Experience with analog and digital circuits, computer control networks, and hardware/software interactions.
• PCB assembly, inspection, and test experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical measurement equipment (DMM, LCR, network analyzers, HI-Pot testers, oscilloscopes).
• Working knowledge of SPC, Cpk, DOE, GR&R (MSA), 5-Why, 6S/7W, 8D, Ishikawa diagrams.
• Familiarity with industry standards (Semi S2, OSHA, ISO9000/14000, RoHS, UL, IEEE, MIL, IPC 610/620).
• Lab/experimental research experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply semiconductor manufacturing and equipment experience to product life cycle problems.
• Improve supplier RCCA, POR, and quality processes through data-driven analysis.
• Lead program/project and supplier management with focus on manufacturing/testing improvements.
