Job summary

Cognitiv Corp. is seeking a Staff Research Scientist to join the New Initiatives team in Bellevue, WA or San Mateo, CA. You will spot opportunities at the intersection of deep learning and AdTech, prototype fast, and carry ideas from concept to shipped product with cross-functional collaboration.

You'll lead the evolution of AudienceGPT, ContextGPT, and AI Personas, translating complex research into public product announcements and shaping the roadmap for next-gen advertising solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field with 7+ years in ML R&D or applied ML.
• Strong product sense and shipping experience in adtech or AI-driven products.
• Proven ability to translate research into shipped features.

Responsibilities

• Generate and advocate product ideas by tracking AdTech, programmatic, and LLM trends.
• Prototype concepts quickly using LLMs and embeddings to test feasibility.
• Own ideas end-to-end from research to production within a cross-functional team.
• Extend AudienceGPT, ContextGPT, and AI Personas research into next-gen systems.
• Collaborate with product/marketing to narrate technical work for launches.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in AdTech and real-time bidding.
• Work with research, engineering, product, and leadership to push ideas to market.
