The MIMG department’s mission is to provide the highest quality research and education in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, informed by diverse scientific viewpoints. We foster an inclusive climate and recruit a diverse group of scientists, educators, and students to address relevant problems in microbial pathogenesis, host cell biology, immune defense, and the host-pathogen interface.
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will package and titer lentiviral vectors, perform cell culture, generate cell banks, and conduct DNA and RNA isolation, ddPCR analysis. Responsibilities also include lab management tasks such as ordering supplies, tracking inventory, maintaining safety manuals, and organizing equipment maintenance.
