Inc. Business Media is looking for a Staff Reporter to cover the fast-evolving intersection of AI, entrepreneurship, and business innovation. This role is focused on delivering sharp, timely journalism that helps founders understand how emerging technologies are reshaping the way companies are built, scaled, and run.
The ideal candidate combines strong news instincts with the ability to develop bigger, reported stories—moving fluidly between quick-turn coverage, service journalism, and enterprise features. They’ll own their beat, develop pitches, and produce high-impact stories covering the big AI players, as well as emerging startups that founders and entrepreneurs should know about.
This role reports to the Tech Editor and works closely with editors and the audience team to ensure coverage is timely, useful, and aligned with Inc.’s mission and voice.
The role will follow a 3-day hybrid schedule (Tuesday-Thursday onsite) in the New York City office.
