We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to develop and lead the reliability of multiple electric mobility vehicles throughout the full development cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Establish reliability targets and metrics for new products including actuators, batteries, drive units, PCBAs, chassis, and electronic systems.
  • Develop reliability test procedures and specifications such as accelerated life testing and environmental testing.
  • Apply acceleration models to create accurate reliability tests predicting product lifetime under stress conditions.
  • Prepare detailed test plans, analyze reports, and provide updates on testing campaigns.
  • Guide engineering teams on failure modes, countermeasures, and design guidelines; perform risk analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Monitor field performance, identify failure trends, and lead FMEAs with cross-functional teams to develop verification plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years industry experience in reliability engineering.
  • Technical knowledge of PCBA reliability, energy storage, drive units, and chassis components.
  • Proficiency in coding (preferably Python) and reliability software such as JMP, ReliaSoft, or MATLAB.
  • Experience with failure analysis techniques (SEM, CT, X-Ray, EDS, TDR).
  • Experience with data collection instrumentation (thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers).
  • Ability to develop innovative reliability testing methods and use FEA software (e.g., Ansys Sherlock) for product life prediction.

Salary Range: $220,000 - $255,000 per year
