HCA St. David's Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PCU at Heart Hospital of Austin, Texas. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, including pre- and post-operative nursing, and serve as a patient advocate.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
  2. Perform procedures as ordered by medical providers.
  3. Document care accurately and timely.
  4. Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
  5. Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical care.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse license
  • Masters Degree or equivalent (Associate, Bachelor, or Diploma)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days
