Position Summary

Under the direction of the Nurse, performs patient care duties including vital signs, I/Os, assisting licensed staff and physicians, and providing for patient needs across all age groups. Works collaboratively with the healthcare team, maintains quality standards, and may need to float to other units as required. Handles clerical and public relations functions for the unit, transcribes orders accurately, and coordinates patient services.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months of work experience preferred
  • Required certifications: CNA and/or completion of Nursing Fundamentals, with the intent to complete a nursing degree
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
