Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ortho Trauma for a nursing position in McKinney, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12-hour nights

Status: Full Time Nights
Shift: 3/12 Hour shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Requirements: Minimum 1 year of Acute Care, Med Surg hospital RN experience, Orthopedics/Trauma

Our Orthopedic unit is a fast-paced environment with high-acuity patients. We foster an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and career growth.

Patient Population: Mostly elective orthopedic surgeries (hip, knee, shoulder replacements), stable trauma patients, and spinal surgery patients.

Patient Ratios: 1:5
Number of Beds: 36

Department Specifics: We admit 3-10 elective surgeries M-F. We promote teamwork and ongoing education. Our team is invested in patient outcomes and education.
