Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR) in Saint Francis, Wisconsin. This is a full-time, ongoing position with a 40-hour workweek, primarily day shifts.

Major Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness, involving patients and families in the process.
- Monitor patient condition changes, respond appropriately, and coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal care.
- Implement safety strategies, assess and address patient and family learning needs, and develop educational approaches.
- Coordinate discharge planning with an interdisciplinary team, applying evidence-based practices and standards of care.
- Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes, supporting quality improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and promote collaboration within the healthcare team. Take leadership roles and delegate appropriately.
- Identify and address safety threats, report incidents, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.
- Practice ethically, respectfully, and collaboratively, contributing to individualized patient care.
- Engage in professional development activities, complete required training, and stay updated on certifications.
- Provide age-appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles.
Licensure, Registration, and Certification
- State-issued RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
Education and Experience
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience; OR experience preferred
