Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Solomons, Maryland, is seeking a registered nurse to provide in-home visits in Calvert County. The role emphasizes 1:1 patient care with flexible schedules and a Monday–Friday window for visits.

The RN will administer medications, perform wound care, document in EMR, and collaborate with the Clinical or Client Services Manager. A MD RN license and at least one year of clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current MD RN license required.
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Home care experience preferred but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, treatments and procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Document doctors' orders and client assessments accurately.
• Coordinate case management and care services.
• Utilize electronic medical records for observations, interventions and evaluations.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs

Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories

Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures

Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager

Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders

Perform client assessments as necessary

Case management and coordination

Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN)

A current license as a Registered Nurse in MD.

A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.

Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.

Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Additional Information

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications: $55.00-$62.00 per point.
