BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Home Health for a nursing job in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This role focuses on Start of Care visits across Montgomery County with flexible full-/part-time schedules Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, emphasizing 1:1 patient care.

Qualified candidates will hold an MD RN license, have at least 1 year of clinical experience, and be able to travel to cases; home health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Current MD RN license required.
Minimum one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
Home health experience preferred but not required.
Graduation from accredited nursing program.
Ability to work independently and manage time.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

Follow a designated care plan per patient needs.
Make home visits to clients in geographic territories.
Administer medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
Monitor client conditions and report changes.
Follow up with and document doctors' orders.
Perform client assessments as necessary.
Case management and coordination.
Document observations and interventions on a touch pad tablet.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
Perform client assessments as necessary
Case management and coordination
Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN)

A current license as a Registered Nurse in MD.
A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Additional Information
