Job summary

Staff Registered Nurse on the 3rd Floor Med-Surg unit at our Georgia facility is sought for a 7pm shift. You will monitor patients, respond to urgent needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, individualized care.

Responsibilities include routine assessments, administering medications per orders, documenting in the EMR, and supporting patients and families. On-site role with opportunities for professional growth.

• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians and other providers
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and document in the electronic record
• Administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders and according to scope of practice
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
