Job summary

Stryker Neurovascular in Salt Lake City is seeking a Staff Engineer, R&D to support development and manufacturing readiness of neurovascular medical devices. You will apply engineering expertise to create robust processes, introduce automation, and partner with cross-functional teams to move products from development to launch in a regulated environment.

The role emphasizes designing and optimizing processes, leading DMAIC improvements, applying DFM, and ensuring compliance with design controls

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of engineering experience in product or manufacturing development.
Experience with neurovascular, vascular, catheter-based devices preferred.
Experience applying DFM and Lean principles.
Experience with design controls and validation in medical devices.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for neurovascular devices.
Translate design requirements into scalable manufacturing specs.
Evaluate and implement automated equipment and custom automation.
Lead documentation and ensure compliance with design controls and risk management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across development and launch stages.
