Job summary

COMTECH TELECOMMUNICATIONS in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer to ensure reliability and safety of satellite products. You will work with suppliers, customers, and engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and implement QA processes.

The role requires 7–9 years in QA within aerospace/high-tech manufacturing, a bachelor's in engineering (master's preferred), and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in quality assurance in aerospace/high‑tech manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; master's preferred.
• Proficient in QA tools, data analysis, and CAPA processes.
• Experience with AS9100 audits and supplier quality oversight.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA protocols for satellite systems.
• Lead AS9100 internal and supplier audits.
• Inspect materials and components to ensure specs.
• Coordinate with engineering/production to resolve defects early.
• Lead site‑wide quality initiatives and root‑cause analyses.
• Review supplier quality and conduct audits as needed.
