Job summary

Rite-Hite seeks a Staff Quality Engineer in Dubuque, IA to lead and improve the Quality Management System across sites. You will drive quality planning, audits, and corrective actions while supporting NPD, PPAP, and supplier quality initiatives.

Hybrid role with travel up to 35%, interfacing with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to maintain ISO 9001 compliance and product quality. A strong background in quality tools and manufacturing processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering or quality systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality improvement methodologies.
• Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP and APQP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the corporate QMS and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead internal and supplier audits and risk-based audit programs.
• Lead root-cause analysis using 8D/DMAIC/5 Why/Fishbone techniques.
• Support containment, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.
• Oversee PPAP/FAI documentation and quality planning for new products.
