Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer to oversee GD&T for HTS Magnet production and the SPARC Project. In this role, you will ensure that complex designs are translated into manufacturable hardware. Responsibilities include leading QA controls, architecting measurement systems, and providing technical coaching. Candidates should possess a BS in a relevant engineering field and at least 10 years of quality engineering experience. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Mastery of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) with ability to translate tolerances.
• Knowledge of cryogenics and experience in large metallic components.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to meet critical tolerances.
• Lead development of QA controls to link design intent and shop-floor reality.
• Architect inspection methods for assembly of large components.
